Dear Parish Family,

receive an affectionate greeting in the Lord, I pray that God will always protect you and your relatives. Let us continue to invoke God’s protection so that this coronavirus pandemic that affects the entire world will soon end. As you all know, we have all been affected by this pandemic in all aspects, including our Churches that have been closed to the public for a long time. We try to reduce expenses and programs, but sometimes it is not possible, because they are essential expenses, such as the payment of electricity, water, air conditioning, telephone, internet, care of buildings. To help with these cuts, we have also begun to reduce office hours. The Parish Office will be open only three days a week: Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 9 A.M to 4 P.M. I need continued support from all of you, parishioners of our church, together we can move forward.

The Parish Festival is only a short time away, and it will not be possible without the support of all its parishioners, as well as the generosity of the community. Your support has always helped make our Festival a wonderful success, building community and raising money to help the different programs in our Church.

Therefore, on Sunday, July 12 at 6:00 P.M in the Parish Center, there will be a meeting open to all, to discuss the Parish Festival. Come and share your ideas and opinions so that we can all be better prepared. If you cannot attend, you can email Terry Lewis at tlewis5050@msn.com. or stbenedictlebanon@hbgdiocese.org But don’t stay quiet, we need your help.

Thank you for your continued support to our St. Benedict Parish.    I am very grateful for your kindness and generosity, especially during these difficult days.

God bless you,

Father José Elías
