Dear Parishioners,

I would like to inform you about the situation of our parish.  In these difficult times, we have a budget that is heavily dependent on our weekly income. As you can see from our most recent bulletin online, we are very much behind the past few weeks due to the absence of people at Mass and giving to our offertory collection. Thank you to those who have been mailing in their envelopes and gifts to the parish office.

Also, for those who may be interested in giving during these confusing times, the Diocese is offering free of charge this donation platform for all parishioners to give directly to our parish and guarantees that all monies will be sent directly to Saint Benedict.

The web address for this online giving can be found at:  Be sure to choose St Benedict the Abbot from the drop-down menu under the parish name.

Again, be assured that you have not been forgotten by me; you are always in my thoughts and prayers. May the word of the prophet Isaiah give us comfort: “So do not fear, for I am with you, do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you, I will uphold with my righteous right hand (Isaiah 41:10)”

I am so very grateful for your goodness and generosity, especially during this difficult and uncertain days.

Happy Easter,

Father Jose Elias
